Nottingham Forest are pursuing a double swoop for Fulham winger Adama Traoré and Bologna forward Dan Ndoye as they seek to bolster their attacking options following the departures of Anthony Elanga and Ramón Sosa. Traoré, 29, previously worked under Forest manager Nuno Espírito Santo at Wolves, where he helped the club achieve two seventh-place finishes. Nuno is a strong admirer of the winger and is pushing for a deal to be completed.
Forest have already agreed a club-record fee for Ndoye, with the Switzerland international set to join this week after a medical. Personal terms are not expected to be an issue, and the 24-year-old turned down a move to Serie A champions Napoli in favour of the Premier League. Ndoye will provide additional width as Forest prepare for their first European campaign in 30 years.
Traoré, considered one of the fastest players in the Premier League, played 36 times for Fulham last season, scoring twice and providing seven assists. His potential arrival would help offset the loss of Elanga, who joined Newcastle for £55m earlier in the window. Forest are also considering increasing their bid for Manchester City midfielder James McAtee after an initial offer of £20m plus £5m in add-ons was rejected.
Elsewhere, Everton have signed teenage left-back Adam Aznou from Bayern Munich for around £8m. The 19-year-old Morocco international, who spent three years at Barcelona's La Masia academy before joining Bayern at 16, made four senior appearances for the German club. He featured 13 times in La Liga last season while on loan at Real Valladolid. Aznou has signed a four-year contract and will provide competition for Vitalii Mykolenko.
Leicester City have signed goalkeeper Asmir Begovic on a one-year contract. The 38-year-old was a free agent after leaving Everton and reunites with head coach Marti Cifuentes, who worked with him at Queens Park Rangers. Begovic, who has played for Bournemouth, Chelsea, and Stoke in the Premier League, is Leicester's first summer signing as the club operates under financial constraints.
