Conte's Sex Ban Rule for Man Utd Players Revealed

Antonio Conte would bring a strict 'sex ban' to Manchester United if he replaced Michael Carrick as manager, requiring players to limit their bedroom efforts during match periods.

The Red Devils sit 16th in the Premier League, with their last win coming in September. Carrick is under pressure after a 3-0 loss to Bournemouth, and he will get one final chance to turn things around against Chelsea on Saturday. If results do not improve, Conte is among the names linked with the job.

Conte's Unusual Rule at Inter Milan

While in charge at Inter Milan, Conte explained his policy on player relationships. He said: "During spells of matches the players should not have sexual relations that last for long periods. They need to make as little effort as possible. The best position for them is if their partners go on top. And it is preferable that they are with their own wives. That way they are not obliged to put in an exceptional performance."

Lautaro Martinez, who played under Conte at Inter, confirmed the rule was enforced. He told DAZN: "Yes! We have to continue working hard in training. When we're at home, though, we have to rest… just like he says!"

Conte's Ambition for a Winning Culture

Conte is one of three names linked with the United job, alongside Eddie Howe and Julian Nagelsmann, but The Standard reports the Italian is keen on taking over at Old Trafford.

Speaking to The Athletic in October, Conte emphasised his desire to restore a winning culture. He said: "If you go to a club where the history speaks for itself - a history made up of trophies, league titles and victories - you can only honour that history in one way: by having the ambition to bring that club back, if it isn't there today, to fight for those goals. I know full well that only one team can win every year, but I must carry in my heart, and instil in the hearts of the fans, my players and my directors, that spark, that hope that makes you say, 'f***, we can win'. You only make history by winning."
