Oregon Ducks Mascot Loses Head in Sideline Blunder

The Oregon Ducks mascot suffered an embarrassing mishap during the team's season opener, tripping and losing his head while running onto the field at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon.

The costumed bird, known as the Oregon Duck, fell during the pre-game entrance, causing his oversized head to pop off. He quickly retreated to the tunnel, with a helper carrying his head, and re-emerged fully restored shortly after.

The incident did not distract the team, as the Ducks went on to defeat Montana State 59-13. This is not the first time the mascot has faced such a mishap; he also lost his head during a road game against Purdue last season.
