Jeremy Clarkson has confessed that Kaleb Cooper was left 'furious' after his latest addition to Diddly Squat Farm. The former Top Gear host attempted to make life easier following a health scare that saw him rushed to hospital for a stent fitting, but his decision to purchase EasyCare sheep did not go down well with his right-hand man.
Clarkson's EasyCare Sheep Purchase
Clarkson explained his reasoning: 'In the first series, I was with the sheep constantly during lambing, terrified there'd be a breech birth or something awful. EasyCare sheep just get on with it.' However, he admitted, 'Kaleb was absolutely furious when I bought them and spent weeks saying I'd got it wrong. They're hard to round up and incredibly strong.'

Despite his initial anger, Clarkson noted a surprising turn: 'But then I noticed the other day that he's quietly bought thirty for himself.' This suggests Cooper may have come around to the idea.
Autonomous Tractor Disagreement
The EasyCare sheep weren't the only point of contention. Clarkson also revealed that an autonomous driverless tractor at The LAMMA Show upset Cooper, who feared it would 'put him out of a job.' Clarkson admitted this made him smile.

Cooper described his experience at the agricultural show: 'I was like a kid in a sweetshop, where Jeremy was more like, "What is that?" and "What is this?" It was frustrating. After six years, you would think he'd know what it is, but actually he didn't understand what stuff was still.'
Evolving Dynamic
Despite the tensions, Cooper acknowledged their relationship has developed: 'Jeremy and I - I think we've got a whole new dynamic now, in terms of us working together. I mean, he's got a much bigger understanding of the whole job, so, you know, he's getting there.'
Season 5 Preview
The new season of Clarkson's Farm is set to take viewers on an emotional rollercoaster, opening with Clarkson's health scare. Prime Video teases: 'In the climactic episodes things turn dark, as bad luck strikes from every direction, causing massive upset.' Clarkson will also tackle a huge farmers' protest against Inheritance Tax, high-tech farming, and troubles at The Farmer's Dog pub.
