Chelsea Teen Estevao Stuns Barcelona In Champions League

Estêvão Willian scored a stunning solo goal as Chelsea thrashed 10-man Barcelona 3-0 at Stamford Bridge in the Champions League. The 18-year-old Brazilian, who joined Chelsea from Palmeiras for £52m last summer, produced a moment of magic to put his side 2-0 up, dribbling past several defenders before firing home with his weaker right foot.

The goal was Estêvão's fourth in his past four starts for Chelsea, and he became only the third teenager after Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappé to score in his first three Champions League starts. His performance overshadowed Barcelona's Lamine Yamal, who was kept quiet by Marc Cucurella.

Chelsea took the lead in the first half when Jules Koundé turned Pedro Neto's flick into his own net from a short corner. Barcelona's night worsened when captain Ronald Araújo was sent off just before half-time for a second yellow card. Marcus Rashford replaced Ferran Torres at the start of the second half but could not inspire a comeback.

Enzo Maresca's side dominated midfield through Moisés Caicedo, Enzo Fernández and Reece James, while Barcelona struggled to create chances. Robert Lewandowski was ineffective, and Ferran Torres missed an early opportunity. The win moves Chelsea up to fifth in the Champions League standings, while Barcelona remain on seven points from five games.
