Chelsea have reportedly placed 11 players on the transfer list as their busy summer window continues. The club has already spent over £300m on new signings, with Morgan Rogers arriving from Aston Villa for £117m as the headline acquisition.
Big spending spree
Manager Xabi Alonso has also secured centre-back Maxence Lacroix from Crystal Palace for £52m and right-back Marco Palestra from Atalanta for £47m. Other arrivals include Geovany Quenda (£40m), Valentin Barco (£34m), and Emmanuel Emegha (£21m).
Given the outlay and the need to reduce a bloated squad, it's unsurprising that a significant number of existing players could depart. According to The Athletic, around 11 players may leave Stamford Bridge in the coming weeks, with Enzo Fernandez and Pedro Neto among the most notable.
Key players available
Fernandez, who joined for a then-Premier League record £107m in 2023, has been linked with Real Madrid. Chelsea would reportedly demand £120m for the midfielder. Neto, linked with a reunion with Enzo Maresca at Manchester City, could cost around £75m, as would Malo Gusto.
Defenders Benoit Badiashile and Axel Disasi are each valued at approximately £30m, while Trevoh Chalobah has agreed a £31m move to Serie A side Como.
Striker surplus
Danny Welbeck's £5m arrival from Brighton gives Chelsea six senior strikers, and up to half could be moved on. Liam Delap is the most likely to depart, with the club hoping to profit on the £30m they paid for him last year despite his single Premier League goal.
Nicolas Jackson, back from a loan at Bayern Munich, could fetch around £65m. Emmanuel Emegha, announced as a Chelsea player last September but yet to play for the club, might also leave. Marc Guiu and David Datro Fofana are valued at £25m and £3m respectively.
