Jamie Carragher has backed Chelsea to beat London rivals Tottenham this weekend and expects Manchester United's struggles to continue with a defeat to Bournemouth.
The former Liverpool and England defender made his predictions for six Premier League fixtures as part of Sky Sports' Super 6 segment.
Chelsea and Tottenham clash
Tottenham travel to Chelsea having ended a six-game winless run with a 3-1 victory over Coventry City on Monday. Spurs had high hopes this season after a strong summer transfer window and the appointment of Roberto De Zerbi, but poor results have raised fears of another disappointing campaign.
Chelsea started the season well before a dip before the international break saw Xabi Alonso's side drop out of the Champions League places. They have since won their last two games, scoring seven goals, and Carragher expects a third straight victory on Saturday evening.
Manchester United's misery
Michael Carrick's position as Manchester United manager could be under threat when Bournemouth visit Old Trafford on Sunday. Carragher has tipped the visitors to claim a famous win over the struggling Red Devils.
Former Premier League striker Chris Sutton has also backed Bournemouth to triumph at Old Trafford, saying United have been poor all season.
Carragher also backed his former club Liverpool to end Brighton's four-match winning run and can see Coventry beating relegation-threatened Fulham.
Other fixtures
Elsewhere, Nottingham Forest visit Ipswich Town, leaders Manchester City travel to Aston Villa, Crystal Palace host Newcastle United, and Hull City play Brentford.
