Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville will headline a star-studded charity gala in Liverpool on November 14, with Tom Grennan and Gabrielle delivering live performances. The Football for Change event aims to tackle child poverty by raising funds for grassroots charities and community projects across the UK.
Founded by Carragher, Conor Coady and Trent Alexander-Arnold, the initiative has already raised more than £1.5 million. It has received backing from Sir Rod Stewart, Noel Gallagher, Boy George, Paloma Faith, Sir David Beckham, Dominik Szoboszlai and Wayne Rooney.
What to expect
TV presenter Mark Wright will host the annual gala, which features an exclusive football Q&A with Carragher, Neville and special guests. Tickets and hospitality packages are on sale now, inviting businesses and individuals to support the cause.
Carragher said: "Football has the power to inspire and bring people together, but it also has the ability to create real change. Every year we're overwhelmed by the generosity of everyone who supports Football For Change, and this year's gala promises to be our biggest yet. The funds raised will help grassroots organisations continue their incredible work, giving young people opportunities they may never otherwise have had."
