The Carabao Cup quarter-final draw has set Liverpool against Bournemouth, while holders Manchester City will take on Bradford. Both Premier League sides advanced after penalty shootouts in the fourth round on Wednesday night.
Liverpool and Man City Progress on Penalties
Liverpool overcame Chelsea on spot-kicks, while Manchester City edged past Brighton in the same fashion. Their rewards are home ties in the next round.
Liverpool will welcome in-form Bournemouth to Anfield. Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola returns to his former club for a second time this season after guiding his side to a 1-0 win at the Vitality Stadium in the Premier League last month.
