The Carabao Cup second round draw is scheduled for Monday, August 10, with the balls drawn at approximately 7.20pm. The draw will be broadcast live from Plymouth Argyle's Home Park Stadium, hosted during the pre-match build-up for the televised Devon derby between Argyle and Exeter City.
How to watch the draw
UK viewers can watch the draw live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football. The pre-match build-up starts at 7pm, with the draw set to begin 20 minutes into the broadcast. For those on the go, the Sky Go app and Sky Sports website offer live streaming for subscribers. Alternatively, a NOW TV Day Membership allows access via the NOW app.
Free streaming and Premier League entrants
The draw will also be streamed for free on the Sky Sports Football YouTube channel, starting shortly before the first ball is drawn. Eleven Premier League clubs will learn their first opponents, with the nine sides competing in Europe excluded. They join the 35 winners from the first round ties.
Ball numbers and dates
The 46 ball numbers are set to be confirmed ahead of the draw on Monday. The second round ties will be played the week commencing August 24th, with the Premier League season kicking off the prior weekend.
