Moises Caicedo appears to have hinted he is available for Chelsea's Premier League match against Sunderland after sharing a matchday graphic on social media.
The midfielder was considered a doubt for the fixture at the Stadium of Light on Sunday after he was not seen in training during the week, following discomfort he felt during last weekend's 2-0 win over Manchester United.
Xabi Alonso's update on Caicedo
In Friday's pre-match press conference, Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso addressed Caicedo's condition, saying: "He had little problems after the last game, so we expect to check tomorrow on different situations and Moi is one of them."
Alonso added: "It's a discomfort, more than his calf."
Since that update on Friday afternoon, Chelsea have not released any footage from the final training session on Saturday before the trip to Sunderland.
Caicedo's social media hint
However, some supporters noticed that Caicedo posted a matchday graphic to his official Instagram Stories on Saturday, leading many Chelsea fans to believe he is fit enough to feature against Sunderland.
The Chelsea team for the match will be announced at 12.45pm GMT, with kick-off at 2pm.
A win for Chelsea would keep them fourth in the Premier League table heading into the international break, regardless of Liverpool's result against Crystal Palace in one of three other fixtures taking place at the same time.
Chelsea were beaten on their last visit to the Stadium of Light, losing 2-1 on the final day of last season, a result that cost them European qualification.
