However, Villa's form has dipped recently, with just one win in seven Premier League matches, including a 3-1 defeat at Manchester United last Sunday. That result has loosened their grip on a top-four place, making progress in Europe even more important for Emery's side.
The match will be broadcast live on TNT Sports 1 and Discovery+, with build-up starting at 7pm. Kick-off is at 8pm.
Villa have several injury concerns: Emi Buendia is a fitness test after limping off at Old Trafford, Matty Cash is a doubt with a calf issue, and Youri Tielemans (ankle) and Boubacar Kamara (knee) are out. Ross Barkley, who scored against United, is not in the Europa League squad.
