Aston Villa continue their Champions League campaign on Wednesday night when they welcome Turkish side Fenerbahce to Villa Park.
Unai Emery's side made a winning start to their European campaign with a thrilling 3-2 victory away to Club Brugge, with John McGinn, Emi Buendia and Nicolas Jackson all finding the net in the first half.
Momentum and domestic struggles
Villa will now be looking to make it two wins from two in the competition as they aim to build momentum ahead of their next Premier League home fixture against Manchester City.
Their domestic form has been less convincing, with Villa recording just one win in their opening six Premier League matches. They were held to a 2-2 draw by Brentford last time out.
There have, however, been encouraging signs from some of the club's summer recruits, with goalkeeper Zion Suzuki impressing and Jackson showing glimpses of his potential as a replacement for Ollie Watkins.
Fenerbahce's form and match details
Fenerbahce, meanwhile, arrive in Birmingham sitting fourth in the Turkish Super Lig.
