Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has confirmed his engagement to long-term girlfriend Tolami Benson. The 24-year-old England international proposed at a top hotel in London last week.
Saka and Benson, both 24, have been together for five years. They went public with their relationship during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where they were pictured embracing in the stands in Doha.
The engagement caps a positive week for Saka on the pitch. He captained Arsenal to a north London derby victory over Tottenham and then a Champions League win against Bayern Munich. Wearing the captain's armband in Martin Odegaard's absence, Saka provided an assist for Jurrien Timber against Bayern before being substituted in the second half.
Saka is expected to start Sunday's London derby against Chelsea as Arsenal aim to move nine points clear of their rivals at the top of the Premier League table. He has scored three goals in 11 appearances against Chelsea, including a penalty at Stamford Bridge in the 2021-22 season when Arsenal won 4-2.
