Streaming problems disrupted Arsenal's pre-season friendly against Girona on Saturday, prompting the club to apologise and move the broadcast to YouTube.
Technical issues force change of platform
The match was initially made available on Arsenal.com and the club's official app, but both platforms experienced problems. Coverage was later moved to YouTube, where the game was streamed free of charge.
"Arsenal supporters, apologies for the inconvenience. We're working through some issues on Arsenal.com and The Arsenal App," the club said in a statement on social media. "Tonight's game is now being streamed for free on our YouTube channel."
Tzolis marks debut with a goal
The fixture marked the first official appearance of summer signing Christos Tzolis, who joined from Club Brugge in a £34m deal last month. The Greece international opened his Arsenal account by doubling their lead in the 30th minute, after Kai Havertz had put Mikel Arteta's side ahead in the 16th.
Arnau Martinez pulled one back shortly after half-time, but Max Dowman restored Arsenal's two-goal cushion minutes later before Gabriel Jesus added another in a 4-1 win.
Pre-season schedule and transfer latest
The match was Arsenal's second of five pre-season fixtures, following a 3-0 win over MK Dons behind closed doors last week. Arteta's side now face Real Betis on Wednesday, then Borussia Dortmund in the Emirates Cup next Sunday, before concluding preparations against Como - managed by former Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas - four days before the Community Shield clash with Manchester City.
Tzolis remains Arsenal's only major arrival so far. The club are reported to be closing in on Newcastle midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, with a fee believed to be around £80m, and have also been linked with Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr, who is in the final year of his contract. On departures, Arsenal have reportedly agreed to sell Christian Norgaard to Everton for £7m, taking summer sales beyond £40m after Leandro Trossard, Jakub Kiwior and Karl Hein left.
