Arsenal earned a 2-1 Premier League victory over Chelsea, with goalkeeper David Raya producing crucial saves and Jurriën Timber scoring the winner after William Saliba had opened the scoring.
Saliba netted his first goal of the season from Bukayo Saka's corner, with Gabriel Magalhães heading the ball across for him. Chelsea levelled when Piero Hincapié mistimed his jump and headed into his own net.
Timber restored Arsenal's lead as Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sánchez flapped at the cross and claimed a non-existent foul. Raya made two important stops, including a late save to deny Chelsea an added-time equaliser.
Pedro Neto was sent off for a silly red card, while Chelsea's Moisés Caicedo and Enzo Fernández both threatened after the interval. Arsenal, missing Martin Ødegaard, held on for the win.
