Police Investigation Underway After Late-Night Incident
Emergency services were called to the trendy Club Rose Bay pub shortly after 10pm on Saturday evening. According to New South Wales Police, officers from the Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command attended the scene following reports of an assault.
A police statement confirmed: "Officers attached to Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command attended and were told a 32-year-old man was involved in an argument and a subsequent assault with two men. The 32-year-old man was allegedly punched in the face by one of the men, causing a small cut to his cheek, as well as being knocked to the ground, where he lost consciousness briefly."
Ambulance Rush to Hospital
The AFL star was immediately transported by ambulance to St Vincent's Hospital for medical assessment and treatment. It is understood that Adams had been celebrating with a group of teammates at the venue before the altercation occurred after he had exited the establishment.
Police have indicated that the two men involved in the incident left the location before law enforcement arrived and are not known to the 32-year-old footballer. The investigation remains active as authorities work to identify those responsible.
Recovery From Injury-Plagued Season
This distressing incident compounds what has been a challenging period for the midfielder, who is simultaneously recovering from a partial Achilles tendon tear sustained in mid-December. The injury effectively ruined his 2025 season before it had properly begun.
