The Africa Cup of Nations begins on Sunday in Morocco, with 32 Premier League players selected for the tournament. Sunderland will be the hardest hit, losing six players: Bertrand Traoré (Burkina Faso), Arthur Masuaku (DR Congo), Noah Sadiki (DR Congo), Chemsdine Talbi (Morocco), Reinildo Mandava (Mozambique) and Habib Diarra (Senegal). These players have accumulated 4,412 minutes and 61 Premier League appearances this season, the highest total of any club.
Manchester United will be without Bryan Mbeumo (Cameroon), Amad Diallo (Ivory Coast) and Noussair Mazraoui (Morocco). Mbeumo is United's top league scorer with six goals, while Amad has created 25 chances. Fulham lose Nigerian trio Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey and Samuel Chukwueze; Iwobi has featured in all 16 league matches and is their leading chance creator with 23.
Burnley are losing three players: Axel Tuanzebe (DR Congo), Hannibal Mejbri (Tunisia) and Lyle Foster (South Africa). Everton will feel the impact of losing Iliman Ndiaye and Idrissa Gueye (both Senegal); Ndiaye has six goal involvements, the most in the squad. West Ham lose full-backs Aaron Wan-Bissaka (DR Congo) and El Hadji Malick Diouf (Senegal), who account for nearly 40% of the club's open-play crosses.
Manchester City will be without Omar Marmoush (Egypt) and Rayan Aït-Nouri (Algeria), who have played limited minutes. Tottenham's Yves Bissouma (Mali) and Nottingham Forest's Willy Boly (Ivory Coast) are heading to the tournament without having played a single Premier League minute this season. Chelsea, Arsenal and Aston Villa are not losing any players.
