Rangers have criticised the SFA after both they and Celtic were charged over last season's Scottish Cup shame game, claiming the independent report omitted significant information.
The Ibrox club said they agree with some parts of the 37-page report but do not accept it in its entirety. The charges stem from ugly scenes after the match, when fans invaded the pitch at Ibrox, echoing the infamous 1980 Hampden clash between the clubs.
Rangers respond to charges
The SFA launched an investigation and today announced both clubs face a hearing on August 13. Rangers responded with a lengthy statement, saying: "The disorder witnessed that day was unacceptable. The club unreservedly condemns those who forced entry, entered the field of play, engaged in violence, used pyrotechnics or threw missiles, vandalised the stadium, burned tifo materials or directed abhorrent abuse at the victims of the Ibrox Disaster."
Rangers said they engaged fully with the review and accept responsibility for areas within the club's control, adding: "We expect the same accountability from others involved."
Ticket allocation concerns
The club highlighted that they had asked for the existing agreement on away ticket allocations to be respected but the increased allocation proceeded. They said: "We are concerned about the description and limited examination of the decision to allocate around 8,000 tickets to Celtic, which materially changed the risk profile of the fixture."
Rangers also criticised the report for not scrutinising the SFA's actions as robustly as those of clubs, calling it "a significant omission." They added they have no plans to restore historic Old Firm allocations at Ibrox and called on the SFA to review its own ticket allocation rules.
