Camilla Kerslake, wife of former England rugby captain Chris Robshaw, has taken to social media to thank fans for their support after his survival on Strictly Come Dancing. She shared a cheeky photo of Robshaw in his underwear, captioned: 'A wee thank you for the votes girls and gays.'
Robshaw and his professional partner Nadiya Bychkova scored just 16 points for their Viennese Waltz, with judge Craig Revel Horwood giving them a three. They landed in the dance-off against Apprentice star Thomas Skinner but were saved by the judges to reach week three.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Kerslake addressed her husband directly: 'I saw firsthand how disappointed you were in yourself last night. I know you are beating yourself up. So I’m here to remind you how loved you are.' She praised him for overcoming his anxiety and showing their sons what it means to be a man.
Kerslake also took aim at Revel Horwood, telling him to 'pip down with your low scores.' She later expressed regret, saying: 'I hope my big mouth won’t get Chris in the bottom two. I was furious last week, a protective wife, and I wanted to climb over the desk and give Craig what for.'
The singer also sparked controversy by commenting on the dance experience of some contestants, including former Love Island star Amber Davies and Lewis Cope. She agreed with a fan who said the experience differences were 'absolutely wild,' but later expressed regret for the remarks.
