Tiger Woods Shares Memorial Day Message Amid Rehab Reports

Golf legend Tiger Woods shared an emotional Memorial Day message on Monday, following reports that he had returned to a rehabilitation facility in Switzerland.

Memorial Day Tribute

In a post on social media, Woods honored military personnel, writing: "My father was a Special Forces operator with two tours in Vietnam and 20 years of service. To all those like my father, we all say thank you for your sacrifices. Without them we wouldn't have the greatest country on Earth."

Rehab Reports

According to Golfweek, citing a report from Celebplanes.com, the 50-year-old's Gulfstream V jet departed from Witham Field in Stuart, Florida on Saturday night and landed at Zurich airport. Woods had previously been in rehab in Switzerland following his March arrest for driving under the influence (DUI), but was photographed returning to Florida on May 13.

The latest trip suggests he may have returned to the European country for further treatment.

Vanessa Trump's Diagnosis

It emerged earlier this week that Woods was still in Switzerland when his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, was diagnosed with breast cancer. The 48-year-old ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr. announced her diagnosis on Wednesday night, stating she is "working closely" with doctors on a treatment plan. The mother of five revealed she had undergone a "procedure" earlier in the week.

Woods has not publicly commented on Trump's health battle.
