Strictly Come Dancing fans are divided after the BBC announced Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe as the show's new hosts for its upcoming series. The trio will replace former presenters Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly, who stepped down earlier this year.
Some viewers expressed disappointment on social media, with one calling the line-up "a let down" and another branding Josh Widdicombe a "comedian with no background of presenting or anything connected to dancing." Others worried that fan favourite Johannes Radebe would be "wasted as a presenter when he still dances SO well."
However, many defended the decision, urging fans to give the new hosts a chance. One supporter wrote: "Emma and Josh are both FANTASTIC presenters & nice people. So I urge everyone to actually give them a chance before crying about it." Another added: "Looking forward to this new trio of Strictly Come Dancing hosts!"
Some viewers felt that other stars, such as Rylan Clark and Zoe Ball, had been overlooked. Rylan responded to the news on social media, saying: "It wasn't my time sadly but am extremely grateful to even have been considered."
