Stormy Daniels has revealed she was appalled by a Donald Trump discovery at her late mother and stepfather's home. The 47-year-old actress and writer found the memorabilia while clearing out the property.

Writing in The i, Daniels said: "After my mother and stepfather died recently, a plethora of Trump memorabilia was found at their home, including a photo of them with a cardboard cut-out of the US President. It underlined how happy my mother has always been to ignore the truth."
Daniels, who received $130,000 (around £96,000) before the 2016 US Election to stay silent about an alleged encounter with Trump in 2006, said she did not attend her mother's funeral. She had no contact with her mother "after she sold made-up stories about me to tabloids in 2018 following my revelations that I had slept with Donald Trump in 2006".
Family Tensions and Regret
Daniels claimed her mother "wished I had played my cards better so the President might have been her son-in-law". She has spoken publicly about the alleged encounter, saying she would change the past if she could.
Speaking to the Mirror UK in 2024, she said: "If I could go back in time to July 2006, I would not have accepted Trump's invitation to dinner in Lake Tahoe." She added: "I definitely regret putting myself in that situation, but I am not the one who should be ashamed. I'm not the one who was married, had ulterior motives or was dishonest."
Daniels concluded: "I get asked a lot, like if you could go back and do it again or do this again, and I say how far back because if I went all the way back, I would not have gone to his room.... But going to his room, I will regret forevermore."
