Family of sisters found dead in Brighton urge end to conspiracy theories
Sisters' family urge end to conspiracy theories

The family of three sisters whose bodies were recovered from the sea off Brighton beach has appealed to the public to stop sharing online conspiracy theories about their deaths.

Deaths of Jane Adetoro, Christina Walters, and Rebecca Walters

Jane Adetoro, 36, Christina Walters, 32, and Rebecca Walters, 31, were found in the water on 13 May. Their father Joseph paid tribute to his daughters, describing them as 'happy girls' and 'best friends' who did not drink or club.

The sisters' aunt, Ajike Adetoro, said the online speculation, partly fuelled by an AI-generated photo, was causing the family 'more harm than good'. She urged people to stop sharing unverified information.

Police investigation ongoing

Sussex Police confirmed that an investigation is ongoing to determine how the women entered the water. However, there is currently no evidence of third-party involvement or criminality.

The family is still trying to understand why the sisters travelled to Brighton, noting that their mother also drowned in 2010.
