Sarah Ferguson faces two new setbacks after Andrew's court win
Sarah Ferguson hit by two new blows after Andrew's court win

Sarah Ferguson has been dealt two fresh blows as she adjusts to a life that looks drastically different from the one she had before her Royal Lodge eviction. The former Duchess of York has kept a low profile in 2026, appearing only a few times in Europe, following the Jeffrey Epstein scandal involving her and her ex-husband, the former Prince Andrew.

Plaque removed at Great Ormond Street Hospital

A plaque commemorating Sarah's association with Great Ormond Street Hospital has seemingly disappeared. The plaque, which was attached to the wall of a special hostel for the parents of sick children at the hospital, honoured the fact that the hostel was opened by the former Duchess in 1990. Only an outline of the plaque now remains.

Ms Ferguson was previously dropped as the patron of multiple charitable organisations in September 2025. Rumours now suggest that the children's hospital in London has cut ties with her as well, although Great Ormond Street Hospital has not commented on the apparent disappearance of the plaque. The Daily Express has contacted the hospital for comment.

Not welcome at Andrew's new home

In another blow, it has been reported that Ms Ferguson is apparently not welcome at her ex-husband's new home following their eviction from Royal Lodge. A report from The Times suggests that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is living a decent life at Sandringham Estate, but Sarah Ferguson has been nowhere to be seen. This comes despite the couple living together for almost 20 years, even after their divorce, until they were stripped of their titles and evicted from their home by King Charles III.

"The red setter, as she's known, is not welcome at Marsh Farm," an insider told The Times. "She's persona non grata as far as Andrew is concerned."

"Don't believe all that poor Andy crap," the source added. "He's having a very nice time, thank you very much. He goes out, he goes off shooting with friends, he sees his old chums who are very loyal to him. He's not sitting around feeling sorry for himself anymore."

Ms Ferguson's downfall comes after documents released by the US Department of Justice (DoJ) earlier this year showed emails appearing to show she was in contact with Epstein while he was in prison for soliciting sex from a minor. The inclusion of one's name in these documents does not automatically indicate wrongdoing.

It has been reported that the 66-year-old Ms Ferguson is renting a gated property in the Home Counties. However, the former Duchess of York could escape to Australia, thousands of miles away, where her sister lives. It is believed that Jane lives with her partner, Ramin Marzbani, and is a businesswoman selling pet products. Reports suggest that Jane could prove to be an ideal escape route for her sister.
