The Prince of Wales was the doting husband as Kate joined him on a series of engagements in London yesterday. The royal couple made an unannounced stop at Borough Market before heading to Bermondsey for a pub crawl along the beer mile.
At the Southwark Brewing Company, Kate climbed a ladder in heel boots to stir hops while William watched. 'Don't worry, I'll do all the hard work,' she joked. They later had a pint-pulling competition, declared a tie by founder Peter Jackson.
At Fabal Beerhall, Kate told owner Hannah Rhodes she had cut back on alcohol 'since my diagnosis'. She patted William's knee and said, 'But you like your cider, don't you?' William then sampled drinks from Hiver, which uses honey from bee hives.
At Change Social cafe in Borough Market, Kate made William a coffee, prompting him to stop his conversation to receive it. The couple's natural chemistry won over fans, with one commenting on X: 'They are just so flipping cute together.'
