Dina Manzo, best known for her role on The Real Housewives of New Jersey (RHONJ), and her husband David Cantin have reconciled after nearly divorcing one year ago. The 54-year-old former Bravo star quietly filed for legal separation from Cantin on March 4, 2025, according to Us Weekly.
Divorce Filings and Claims
Six days later, Cantin filed for divorce in Florida, citing that the marriage was 'irretrievably broken.' Manzo, whose ex-husband Thomas Manzo was sentenced to seven years in prison in 2024 for hiring a mobster to assault Cantin, noted their wedding took place in June 2017, with the date of separation listed as the day she filed.
In his divorce filing, Cantin claimed they married on June 28, 2018, in Malibu, California. He also stated that since 2021, his wife had been residing in Florida, where they last lived together as a couple. Cantin asked the court to equitably divide marital assets with an unequal distribution in his favor, citing the 'duration of the marriage and [his] extraordinary contributions to the acquisition, enhancement and production of income or the improvement of both the marital assets and the non-marital assets.' He additionally requested that the court award his attorneys' fees and costs if the wife engaged in unnecessary or vexatious litigation.
Meanwhile, in a California filing, Manzo cited irreconcilable differences and requested spousal support and attorneys' fees, but did not want her husband to be awarded spousal support. She claimed she would attend to assets and debts at a later date.
Reconciliation and Dismissal
In April 2025, both Manzo and Cantin paused the cases 'in an effort to resolve all issues in a dignified, private and cooperative manner,' and to 'attempt to reach a mutually agreed upon resolution of all issues,' Us Weekly reported. Almost one year later, on March 27, 2026, the couple requested that their petitions be dismissed. The Daily Mail has reached out to Manzo for comment.
Romantic Vacation and Birthday Celebration
One day after reconciling and dismissing their court cases, Manzo took to Instagram to share photos from a romantic vacation with her husband. She captioned a collection of loved-up snapshots, 'D&D 2.0 ❤️ {paradise edition}.' Days earlier, she gushed over her husband's efforts in celebrating her March 7 birthday. Sharing a photo of them staring into each other's eyes while bathed in blue light at her Studio 54-themed bash, she wrote, 'My husband set the birthday bar dangerously high this year.'
Manzo appeared on the first season of RHONJ in 2009 alongside Teresa Giudice, Jacqueline Laurita, Caroline Manzo, and Danielle Staub. She left the series after season two, made cameos in season four, and returned full-time for season six, after which she exited the show for good. She was previously married to Thomas Manzo, who was convicted of hiring a mobster in 2015 to assault her now-husband. Manzo also shares a 30-year-old daughter, Lexi Ioannou, with her first husband, George Hadjiapostoli.
