Netflix subscribers have just weeks left to stream the British drama 'Secret Diary of a Call Girl', which is set to leave the platform by May 29. The series originally aired on ITV2 from 2007 to 2011 and has been praised as 'perfect raunchy television'.
Based on the blog and novels by Bell de Jour, the show stars Billie Piper as Hannah Baxter, a high-class call girl who supports her expensive taste through her secret profession. The cast also includes Iddo Goldberg and Cherie Lunghi.
Created by Lucy Prebble, the series has earned a 7.3/10 rating on IMDb. One viewer commented, 'Forget your 50 Shades of Grey, this British programme... will blow your mind with every episode.' Another described it as a 'deliciously wicked drama'.
However, not all reviews have been positive. One critic called it 'a re-hash of everything from Sex And The City to Footballer's Wives', while another found the personal relationship storylines 'woefully done and painful to watch'.
