Fitzy Gets Surprise Wrestling Match with Game of Thrones' The Mountain

Ryan 'Fitzy' Fitzgerald, co-host of Nova 96.9's breakfast show, was left stunned on Thursday when a blind wrestling match took an unexpected turn. The 39-year-old radio personality believed he was going up against his co-host Michael 'Wippa' Wipfli, but the crew had a different plan.

Instead, Fitzy found himself in the ring with Hafthor Björnsson, the Icelandic strongman known for playing The Mountain in Game of Thrones. At 6 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 190kg, Björnsson quickly overpowered Fitzy, putting him in a headlock.

Fitzy, who had arrived in boxing shorts and a white tank top with a blindfold and GoPro, called out in distress: 'He's putting me to sleep! Don't put me to sleep!' Wippa soon entered the ring to defuse the situation, and Fitzy removed his blindfold to discover his opponent's true identity.

The trio posed for photos after the prank, with no hard feelings. Björnsson, who has been spending time in Australia, dropped into the radio station for the humorous stunt.
