LeAnn Rimes Health Update After Cancelling Tour Dates

LeAnn Rimes has provided a health update after cancelling several tour dates due to a severe illness. The 43-year-old singer, who rose to fame in 1991, took to social media to inform fans she is on voice rest but recovering.

In a video posted from rehearsals for her upcoming 30 Years of Blue tour, Rimes performed her hit 'Sittin' On Top Of The World' while seated on a green sofa. She captioned the clip: 'Still working my way through voice rest trying to get myself back to health as quickly as possible but couldn’t let the sitting on top of the world anniversary pass by.'

The Voice mentor added: 'I know this is one of your favourites that I haven’t played in a while. Here’s a little peek into rehearsals as we reworked and reimagined this gem. Hoping to add it to the setlist when I can get back out on the road.'

In April, Rimes announced the cancellation of several tour dates due to a 'severe illness', rescheduling two Washington shows to late May and early June. She apologised to fans, stating: 'I am truly heartbroken to have to reschedule and I am so very grateful for your kindness and continued support as I recover.'

The cause of her illness remains undisclosed. Rimes is scheduled to perform across the US until July. This is not her first health issue; in 2025, she revealed her front teeth fell out during a performance due to a dental bridge problem.
