LeAnne Rimes Health Update After Cancelling Tour Dates

LeAnne Rimes, the singer and mentor on The Voice, has provided fans with a health update after being forced to cancel several dates on her 30 Years of Blue tour due to a severe illness. The 43-year-old artist, who first rose to fame in 1991, took to social media to inform her followers that she is currently on vocal rest but is steadily recovering.

Behind-the-Scenes Rehearsal Video

While dealing with her medical issues, LeAnne posted a brief video clip of herself rehearsing for the highly anticipated tour. In the video, she is seen sitting on a green sofa, casually dressed in a white t-shirt and charcoal trousers, and appears without makeup. She performed her iconic song Sittin' On Top Of The World, which holds special significance as it celebrates an anniversary.

In the caption, she wrote: "Still working my way through voice rest trying to get myself back to health as quickly as possible but couldn't let the 'sitting on top of the world' anniversary pass by." She added, "I know this is one of your favourites that I haven't played in a while. Here's a little peek into rehearsals as we reworked and reimagined this gem." LeAnne expressed hope that the song would be added to the setlist once she can return to the road.

Tour Cancellation and Rescheduled Dates

In April, LeAnne disappointed fans by announcing the cancellation of several tour dates due to medical reasons. In a statement, she said: "Due to severe illness, I am unable to travel & perform this week." Two Washington dates were rescheduled to May 31 in Spokane and June 2 in Seattle. She apologized for the difficult decision and assured fans that tickets would be refunded if they could not attend the rescheduled shows.

At the time, she expressed her heartbreak over the rescheduling and thanked fans for their kindness and support during her recovery. She added, "I look forward to being back on stage and seeing you very soon." The cause of her severe illness remains undisclosed. The singer is scheduled to perform across the United States until July.

Previous Health Issues

This is not the first time LeAnne has faced medical challenges. In 2025, she admitted that her teeth fell out while performing on stage. The singer recalled feeling a "pop" and realizing her front teeth had come out due to a dental bridge. She rushed off stage to try to fix the issue but was unable to, forcing her to hold her teeth in place for the remainder of the performance.

LeAnne's fans continue to support her as she focuses on her recovery, and they eagerly await her return to the stage.
