Laura Loomer Claims Trump Had No Ties to Epstein – But What’s the Truth?
Laura Loomer denies Trump-Epstein connection

Far-right activist Laura Loomer has once again stirred controversy by vehemently denying any connection between former US President Donald Trump and the late financier Jeffrey Epstein. In a recent statement, Loomer dismissed allegations of Trump's association with Epstein as "baseless smears" and accused the media of pushing a false narrative.

Loomer’s Fiery Defence

Loomer, a staunch Trump supporter, took to social media to defend the former president, insisting that Trump had "zero involvement" in Epstein’s crimes. She claimed that Trump was one of the few high-profile figures who had publicly distanced himself from Epstein after his initial arrest in the mid-2000s.

"The left and the fake news media are desperate to link Trump to Epstein, but the facts don’t support it," Loomer wrote. "Trump banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago years ago. That speaks volumes."

The Lingering Questions

Despite Loomer’s assertions, questions remain about Trump’s past interactions with Epstein. Photographs and court documents have shown that the two men socialised in the 1990s and early 2000s, with Trump once describing Epstein as a "terrific guy" who liked "beautiful women, on the younger side."

While Trump has since claimed he "wasn’t a fan" of Epstein, critics argue that his previous comments and associations raise red flags. Legal experts note that Epstein’s network included numerous powerful figures, making it difficult to dismiss connections outright.

Public Reaction

Loomer’s defence has drawn mixed reactions. Trump loyalists have applauded her for "standing up to the lies," while sceptics accuse her of whitewashing history. The debate has reignited discussions about accountability and transparency among political elites.

As the Epstein saga continues to unfold, one thing is clear: the controversy surrounding his associates is far from over.
