Jeremy Vine, the 61-year-old BBC Radio 2 presenter and host of Channel 5's Eggheads, has a famous wife: journalist Rachel Schofield. The couple married in 2002 in the Devon village of Tipton St John and live in Chiswick, London, with their two daughters, Martha and Anna.
Vine was previously married to American banker Janelle Muntz for seven years, ending in 2000. He described the split as 'very sad', citing demanding careers and travel schedules that left them 'seeing very little' of each other over three years.
In August 2016, Vine was involved in a frightening road rage incident while cycling in London. A motorist hurled threats and abuse, later receiving a one-month prison sentence for threatening behaviour and driving offences.
Vine stopped sharing footage of his cycling journeys after online harassment and death threats. He said trolls regularly wished to see him 'crushed under a truck', a 'very real danger' for cyclists. He also suffered a cycling accident that left him 'knocked out cold for a minute or two'.
Vine is due to appear on ITV's Love Your Weekend with Alan Titchmarsh on Sunday, May 24. He is the older brother of comic Tim Vine.
