Jeremy Vine, the well-known British television and radio presenter, is set to appear on ITV's Love Your Weekend with Alan Titchmarsh on May 24. The 61-year-old broadcaster is a household name, best recognized for hosting his BBC Radio 2 lunchtime show, which blends news, interviews, consumer affairs, and popular music. He also fronts Channel 5's quiz show Eggheads, a role he took over from Dermot Murnaghan in 2014. In 2015, he participated in the 13th series of Strictly Come Dancing, partnered with professional dancer Karen Hauer. Currently, he presents Jeremy Vine, a weekday current-affairs programme on Channel 5.
Who Is Jeremy Vine's Wife?
Jeremy Vine is married to Rachel Schofield, a journalist and news presenter. The couple tied the knot in 2002 in the picturesque Devon village of Tipton St John. They reside in Chiswick, London, with their two daughters, Martha (born 2004) and Anna (born 2006). Jeremy is also the older brother of comedian and actor Tim Vine.
Before marrying Rachel, Jeremy was married to American banker Janelle Muntz for seven years; the marriage ended in 2000. He described the split as "very sad," citing demanding careers and travel schedules that left them seeing "very little" of each other over three years.
Rachel Schofield began her broadcasting career at the BBC, starting at BBC Radio Newcastle in 1999 and contributing to BBC Look North. She later reported for BBC Radio 4 before joining BBC News. In 2020, she temporarily co-presented the Jeremy Vine show for a week, filling in for usual co-host Storm Huntley.

Jeremy Vine's Death Threat Ordeal
In August 2016, Jeremy was involved in a frightening road rage incident while cycling through London. A motorist hurled threats and abuse at the broadcaster, leading to legal proceedings. The driver received a one-month prison sentence for threatening behaviour, driving without reasonable consideration, and driving without valid road tax.
Jeremy eventually stopped sharing footage of his London cycling journeys due to a barrage of online harassment and death threats. He stated: "The trolling just got too bad. They had well over 100m views, but in the end the anger they generate has genuinely upset me."
The presenter revealed that a "regular theme" among internet trolls involved wishing to see him "crushed under a truck," which he described as a "very real danger" facing cyclists. Jeremy also endured a cycling accident that left him "knocked out cold for a minute or two."
