The tale describes a beetle that climbs from the bottom of a pond and transforms into a beautiful dragonfly, soaring to see the beauty of a whole new world. The story explains that the creature's life had 'been fulfilled, rather than ended' and concludes with an emotional line: the dragonfly will one day see his loved ones again after raising his wings and flying off into a joyous new life.
Friends Describe Loneliness
Friends of Jake have described him as 'lonely and lost' in his final months. A close friend told the Daily Mail that being famous and rich was 'the worst thing that could have happened to him'. They claimed Jake had been suicidal years before his death, saying: 'He was a beautiful boy but so lonely and so lost.'
