Greene Claims White House Discussing Nuclear Weapons on Iran

Former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has alleged that the White House is discussing using nuclear weapons on Iran, branding the Trump administration "insane" and the plan "pure evil."

Allegations Posted on X

Greene posted the allegations on her X account on Sunday, stating: "They are discussing using nuclear weapons on Iran in strategy meetings. Yes, you read that correctly. It's real. I'm not speculating, I know. And it's pure evil."

The politician, who frequently shares conspiracy theories online, referenced the devastation caused by the last nuclear weapon used in 1945 in Japan, which resulted in a total of 214,000 deaths.

Claims About Intelligence and Conflict

Greene further alleged: "Trump and his admin were told by our own intelligence that Iran was no where near creating a nuclear weapon, then Israel said the same line it's repeated for decades, 'Iran is only weeks away.'"

She continued: "So we bombed anyways, killed their leaders and innocent little children in a school, and Iran has controlled the Strait of Hormuz ever since and punished the region for their part in it."

She added: "And now our government is the one actually discussing lowering the nuclear threshold in order to use nuclear weapons against Iran even though Trump claims he's won the war like 40 times and says the U.S. controls the SoH."

Trump's Statements on Iran

The criticism follows Trump's announcement on Friday that he'll be "declaring the Hormuz Strait a territory of the United States" during an event in Long Island. The US President stated that Iran had been "very badly defeated."

He wrote on Truth Social last week: "Nothing gets through to Iran, unless we want it to, and nothing will get through, unless a Deal, or Total Surrender, is accomplished. Whether Iran wants to admit it or not, we are, in fact, talking of a solution to a problem that they have caused, for decades."

Throughout the conflict's duration, Trump has consistently demanded Iran surrender its enriched uranium stockpiles - which he frequently terms "nuclear dust." As discussions remain prolonged and ceasefires are abandoned, the nuclear weapons issue stays central to negotiations, according to the US President.

Greene's Warning

Despite Trump's firm position on preventing Iran from possessing nuclear weapons, Greene maintains: "Trump promised no more foreign wars, but may actually be the one who delivers a nuclear holocaust that would likely drag the entire world into major conflict, economic depression, and mass human suffering we've never seen in our lifetimes and maybe throughout history."

She added: "People need to speak out and boldly stop this insanity. America is not untouchable. If and when that happens, everyone, and I do mean everyone, will hold ALL of those in leadership right now fully responsible for the rest of human history."

She continued: "Do not use nuclear weapons and stop this war NOW."

The Star have contacted the White House for further comment.
