Hannah Bronfman Shares First Photos of Newborn Son After Obama Announced Birth

Hannah Bronfman has introduced her newborn son, Preston Miles Thomas Fallis, to the world with the help of former US President Barack Obama, who inadvertently revealed the baby's arrival during a video interview. The Seagram heiress and her husband Brendan Fallis welcomed their first child on November 20, nearly two years after Bronfman suffered a miscarriage.

In a video shared on Instagram on Thursday, Bronfman was interviewing Obama when he congratulated her on becoming a mother. A surprised Bronfman confirmed the news, and Obama asked about the baby's name, calling Preston a 'good' choice but noting that the full name was 'a big name.' The former president, who has two daughters with wife Michelle Obama, recalled his own early parenting days and advised Bronfman to enjoy her son's sleeping habits.

On Friday, Bronfman posted the first photos of baby Preston on Instagram, showing the family at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. She explained that she and Fallis had kept the birth private to cherish the first days as a family. 'Our hearts are busting as we have been basking in the love bubble of cuddles, poops, sleepy feeds,' she wrote.

Bronfman revealed that Preston was born at 6:47 a.m. on November 20, weighing 7 pounds, 9 ounces. She shared the meaning behind his name: 'Miles is his grandpa and great grandpa’s middle name on my side and Thomas is Brendan's middle name and his Dad's middle name and Preston's great great grandfathers name.'

Fallis also shared photos, including one of him cradling Preston shirtless for skin-to-skin contact and another of Bronfman breastfeeding. 'Welcome to the world little Preston! We’re beyond blessed to have you in our lives,' he wrote.
