Epstein Emails Reveal Brexit Celebration and 'Tribalism' Remarks
Epstein Emails Show Brexit 'Tribalism' Comments

Millions of emails released by US authorities have unveiled disturbing connections between convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and powerful political figures, with fresh revelations about his apparent celebration of Britain's decision to leave the European Union.

Brexit Hailed as 'Return to Tribalism'

The latest document tranche from the Epstein files includes email correspondence suggesting the disgraced financier viewed Brexit as a significant geopolitical shift. In an exchange dated just three days after the 2016 referendum, Epstein appears to have written to tech billionaire Peter Thiel declaring "Brexit, just the beginning."

When Thiel reportedly responded asking "Of what," Epstein elaborated with the phrase "return to tribalism, counter to globalization, amazing new alliances." The correspondence further reveals Epstein discussing economic philosophy, noting both men had agreed zero interest rates were "too high" and that finding collapsing systems was easier than identifying bargains.

Allegations of Government Information Leaks

The document release contains explosive allegations regarding Labour peer Peter Mandelson's interactions with Epstein. Emails suggest Mandelson forwarded sensitive internal government communications to the financier, including a No 10 email sent to then Prime Minister Gordon Brown containing assessments of the UK economy during the financial crisis.

The leaked document reportedly mentioned "saleable assets" that could be privatised to reduce national debt. Both Reform UK and the SNP have formally reported the 2009 email to police, prompting Metropolitan Police confirmation that they will examine allegations of misconduct in public office.

Growing Calls for Official Inquiry

Liberal Democrat leader Sir Ed Davey has demanded a statutory public inquiry into how Epstein "gained access to the heart of the British political establishment." Davey emphasised that victims and their families deserve complete transparency and accountability.

"Epstein was leaked highly market-sensitive information by a minister in Whitehall, leaving our institutions dangerously exposed and posing a grave threat to national security," Davey stated. He argued that only a full inquiry with powers to compel witnesses and access communications could restore public trust and prevent similar corruption.

International Connections Revealed

The documents further indicate Epstein spent years attempting to secure an audience with Russian President Vladimir Putin, whose name appears 1,055 times in the latest release. This revelation has intensified concerns about potential foreign influence through Epstein's network.

As authorities review the allegations, the scale of Epstein's political connections continues to emerge, raising fundamental questions about accountability and transparency within British institutions.
