Emily Atack has offered a rare glimpse into her wedding plans and behind-the-scenes secrets from the hit Disney+ series Rivals. The 36-year-old actress, known for her role in The Inbetweeners, is currently juggling preparations for her upcoming nuptials to fiancé Dr Alistair Garner while starring in the steamy second season of Rivals.
Nudity on Set
During an appearance on the Rivals Season 2 Official Podcast, Atack joined her on-screen husband Rufus Jones, 51, to discuss the latest episodes. The conversation turned to a scene where Jones's character, Paul Stratton, dances naked after a shower. Atack quipped that she has seen Jones unclothed "more than my own partner this year."
Jones laughed and admitted the shower scene was challenging due to the small size of the set. "I've done it about 10 times!" he said, adding that the limited space made filming difficult.
Atack, who gave birth to her son Barney in 2024, also revealed she drew on her own experience of motherhood for her character Sarah Stratton's pregnancy storyline. "It really, genuinely gave me that real emotion," she explained.
Wedding Plans
Beyond the set, Atack has confirmed her wedding to Dr Alistair Garner is set for September this year. Speaking to Luxury London, she said: "I think I've nailed it. We're getting married in September." She added that she has enjoyed the planning process, from choosing napkins to other details.
Atack and Garner announced their engagement in July last year, and the couple are parents to their son Barney.
New TV Show
Atack is also set to co-host ITV's new strategic reality quiz Nobody's Fool alongside fellow Rivals star Danny Dyer, 48. The show premieres on ITV1 and ITVX at 9pm on Saturday.
