Paloma Faith has announced she is 18 weeks pregnant, sharing the surprise news in an Instagram post on Friday. The singer, 44, has been in a relationship with her boyfriend Stevie Thomas, a managing director of venue The JamHouse, for a year.
The Celebrity Traitors star, who was the first celebrity to be evicted from the show, captioned her post: 'Plot twist, mother is mothering (again) #morethangeriatricpregnancy #oappregnancy #oapmilf #18weekspregnant'.
Paloma welcomed a daughter with her ex Leyman Lahcine, from whom she split in 2023 after nine years together, in December 2016, and a second baby girl in February 2021. She has been open about her fertility struggles, conceiving both children through IVF after six rounds of treatment, during which she suffered an ectopic pregnancy and a devastating miscarriage.
During the birth of her first child, following a successful second round of IVF, Paloma endured a difficult labour, including an emergency C-section which later led to fertility problems and post-partum psychosis. She spoke about the traumatic experience on the How To Fail With Elizabeth Day podcast last year, describing hallucinations due to lack of sleep and depression lasting for years.
Paloma also revealed she suffered a miscarriage while filming a fight scene for the 2019 series Pennyworth, but continued working for fear of losing her job. She said: 'I would just be going home without work and without a viable pregnancy.'
