Coronation Street viewers are convinced they have identified the mystery caller Christina Boyd was speaking to in Thursday's episode, with many believing it was her daughter Daisy Midgeley.
In the scene, Christina was seen in the café speaking quietly on the phone, telling the person she was 'desperate' and needed help to get out of a 'mess'. She did not mention the call to her partner George Shuttleworth when they met later, leading fans to speculate about the caller's identity.
Taking to social media, one fan said: 'I think she was talking to Daisy about needing money.' Another added: 'I think Christina may have money issues.' Some viewers even suggested Daisy could be involved in Theo Silverton's murder, with one posting: 'Daisy killed Theo.'
Christina is currently a suspect in Theo's death, having lied about her alibi and seemingly thrown fellow suspect Summer Spellman under the bus. The mystery call has fuelled theories that she may be hiding financial troubles or another secret.
