Next week on Coronation Street, Ronnie Bailey's sudden arrival at the Bailey household sparks suspicion, and a shocking revelation leaves Ed Bailey gobsmacked. Ronnie, played by Vinta Morgan, confesses to Ed that he believes Michael could actually be his son, not Ed's.
Earlier in the week, Michael announces a gender reveal party for his baby with Grace, and Ronnie offers to fund it, irritating Ed. Ed insists on paying himself, and Ronnie steps away to take a call, telling the caller to stop pestering him. Later, it emerges the caller is Ronnie's estranged wife Kat, who is tired of him ignoring her calls. Ronnie accuses her of running off to be with Aggie, and she demands an explanation. He finally reveals he came to Weatherfield to see if Michael is his son. When Ed turns up, Ronnie introduces Kat as his business partner, leaving her stung.
At the hospital, as Grace gives birth, Ed asks Ronnie why he's on edge. Ronnie admits he dated Aggie before Ed and believes Michael could be his son. Ed is horrified, but is distracted when Grace gives birth to a baby girl. On Friday, Ronnie brings gifts, but a furious Ed demands he stay away from his family. Meanwhile, Michael and Grace worry as their newborn is put back on a ventilator after struggling to breathe.
Elsewhere, Tyrone begins flirting with Alina, who enjoys the attention. His behaviour leaves Fiz bemused as she catches him looking at beauty therapies online. When Alina drives an old car onto the street, Tyrone offers to help, but she reveals she knows her way around car engines. Tyrone is smitten and thrilled when she suggests they work on her car together. At the end of the week, Alina shows Emma and Seb a gift she bought Tyrone as a thank you.
