Kaleb Cooper, star of Clarkson's Farm, was seen jumping for joy after The Hawkstone Farmers Choir won Britain's Got Talent on Saturday night. The 27-year-old joined Jeremy Clarkson's partner Lisa and cast members Gerald Cooper and Charlie Ireland to watch the result on a large screen outside The Farmer's Dog pub.
The choir, funded and formed by Jeremy Clarkson, took home a £250,000 prize and will perform at the Royal Variety Performance. As the winner was announced, Kaleb, Charlie and Lisa leapt to their feet and hugged each other, while Clarkson, 65, cheered from the ITV audience.
Speaking after the win, Clarkson described it as 'the best thing ever'. In a post on Simon Cowell's Instagram, he said: 'These guys worked so hard, it's the best thing ever Simon, thank you for having them.' Cowell agreed, saying the choir 'did deserve it'.
The choir became the first act of its kind to win the competition. Judge KSI said he wanted to add their original song, This Is Home, to his Spotify playlist. Cowell called their performance 'absolutely stunning', 'heartfelt' and 'joyous', while Amanda Holden was brought to tears.
