Andy Burnham joined delegates at the famous Mirror Party at Labour Party Conference on Tuesday night, where he was pictured grinning alongside the Mirror Chicken. The Prime Minister, pint of Guinness in hand, was photographed chatting to the Mirror Chicken at the event, which saw MPs, advisors and journalists let their hair down.
Entertainment and Performances
Revellers were treated to Chief Secretary to the Treasury Emma Reynolds singing Twist and Shout and Transport Secretary Heidi Alexander belting out Abba's Waterloo. Labour mayors Tracy Brabin and Bev Craig stepped up to the mic to perform Sweet Caroline, while The Mirror's Lizzy Buchan, Mikey Smith and Sophie Huskisson showed off their musical talents.
Notable Attendees
Housing Secretary Angela Rayner was there, as was Education Secretary Lucy Powell. The party has been a big part of Labour conferences over the years.
The event was put on by The Mirror & iNHouse Communications in partnership with Diageo hours after the PM's big speech.
