Angelina Jolie encouraged her children with Brad Pitt to avoid spending time with their father during custody visits, a US court has heard. The claims were made in a declaration by former SAS soldier Tony Webb, who worked as a bodyguard for the family for more than 20 years.
Mr Webb stated that a colleague, Ross Foster, overheard Jolie telling the children to shun Pitt. Foster allegedly discussed this with Webb as he prepared to give evidence in the family court case following the couple's 2016 split, despite signing a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
Webb also claimed that Jolie's personal assistant, Michael Viera, asked him to stop Foster and another contractor from testifying, threatening that Jolie would sue them if they broke their NDAs. Webb said he had no power to stop them as they were independent contractors.
Both men later testified under subpoena, leading Jolie to terminate Webb's security firm in June 2021. The former couple remain locked in a legal dispute over the sale of the Chateau Miraval winery, which they co-owned.
