Nadia Almada, the iconic winner of Big Brother 2004, has been seen with her face heavily taped up after undergoing cosmetic surgery in Spain. The 46-year-old was photographed leaving a hospital in Marbella last week, sporting white suture plasters under her nose and on her eyelids, which appeared bloodied and bruised.
The TV star, who kept her transgender identity secret during her time on the show, was dressed in a navy smock dress and gold chunky heels, with turquoise nail varnish. She left the hospital with a companion after a surgery consultation on September 26, beginning her recovery process. Her surgery was performed by Facialteam in Marbella, specialists in facial feminisation surgery.
Facial feminisation surgery includes procedures such as hairline adjustment, lip and cheekbone augmentation, jaw and chin reshaping, and eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty). In July, Nadia revealed to The Sun that she was undergoing cosmetic surgery to 'hold back the years', including a facelift and plans for dental work in Turkey.
Despite her fame, Nadia has worked as a hairdresser for the past decade, citing a lack of opportunities for trans women in the industry. She noted that brands preferred to appeal to the masses rather than feature a trans woman. However, she now has an OnlyFans profile and is open to appearing on reality shows like I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! or a 'middle-aged Love Island'.
