Lainey Wilson and Devlin Hodges Red Carpet Debut

Newlyweds Lainey Wilson and Devlin 'Duck' Hodges made their first red carpet appearance since tying the knot on May 10, attending the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday.

Wedding and Honeymoon

The Grammy-winning country crooner, who turns 34 this Tuesday, told Extra: 'It's going pretty good so far!' Wilson and the 30-year-old retired NFL quarterback spent 'a few days' soaking up the sun in Sedona, Arizona for their honeymoon.

The beaming bride wore an 'incredible' custom Oscar de la Renta wedding dress for their nuptials, which were held at the Ruskin Cave in Dickson, Tennessee. 'She just looked unbelievable,' Hodges recalled. 'It was so cool because I felt like all night me and her were just together in our own little world. And yes, we saw all of our friends and family, but we really made the night about me and her and it was great.'

'It was perfect,' Wilson agreed. 'When we left the wedding, we were in the back of the truck thinking, like, people are going to be talking about this wedding forever. We had that much fun. We were hyping ourselves up.'

Marital Advice and Relationship

As for marital advice, the Keepin' Country Cool star laughed as she recalled what her songwriting buddy Shane Minor told her: 'If you gonna fight, make sure you're naked.' The duck-hunting couple were set up on a blind date in 2021 and got engaged in February 2025.

ACM Awards and Future

Sadly, Wilson lost all six of the trophies she was nominated for during the Prime Video-broadcast awards ceremony, four of which went to Ella Langley. However, the Reminders of Him actress did get to perform her new single 'Can't Sit Still' onstage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Perhaps things will go Wilson's way when she competes for the best female country artist trophy at the American Music Awards, which airs May 25 on CBS/Paramount+.

The Louisiana-born belter, who pulls 11.6 million monthly listeners on Spotify, originally got her start performing as a Hannah Montana impersonator. Meanwhile, Hodges retired from football in 2022 and now works as a real estate agent for Mossy Oak Properties as well as overseeing his golf apparel line, Club Country.
