Kay confirmed the schedule change: "Breakfast on for a little bit longer today until 10 o'clock this morning, and at that point we will all find out what's going to happen. Unexpected Interruption: Street Cleaning Behind Kay
During a segment with guests Emma Burnell and George Parker, a man began cleaning markings on the floor with a wooden broom behind Kay. Kay joked: "Guys, thank you very much indeed. I think we're going to have to stop you, otherwise we're going to get brushed away!" He noted that the front door had been polished and stains removed as the world's eyes would be on Downing Street.
Later, a road-sweeping machine appeared while Kay was speaking to Henry Zeffman. Kay quipped: "Do you think we could get our shoes cleaned at the same time?"
