Declan Rice Celebrates Arsenal's Premier League Title with 'It's Done' Message

Declan Rice has finally declared the Premier League title race 'done' after Arsenal were crowned champions. The England midfielder, who famously said the race was not over after a defeat to Manchester City earlier this season, took to Instagram moments after the title was confirmed. He posted a picture with teammates Kai Havertz, Eberechi Eze, William Saliba, Myles Lewis-Skelly and Bukayo Saka, captioned: 'I told you all.. it’s done,' accompanied by red heart and trophy emojis.

Rice's post referenced a viral moment when he was caught telling Martin Odegaard 'it's not done' after Arsenal's loss to City, which had seemingly put Pep Guardiola's side in control. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta praised Rice's comments at the time, saying: 'It’s not done, and we are more confident that we’re going to do it. That was the feeling that, probably without them expressing it in the dressing room, I felt immediately, and that was very powerful.'

Arsenal secured the title with one game remaining, following a 1-0 win against Burnley on Monday evening and City's draw with Bournemouth. It is Arsenal's first Premier League title in 22 years. Arteta said: 'We made history again together, I cannot be happier and prouder for everybody that is involved in this football club. Let's enjoy the moment.'

Former manager Arsene Wenger also featured in a touching montage shared by the club, saying: 'You did it. Champions go on when others stop. This is your time. Now, go on and enjoy every moment.' Arsenal will lift the trophy on the final day of the season against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, before turning their attention to the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain in Budapest.
