Amazon Prime Video will showcase 31 games on its streaming service, including the highly anticipated WNBA Commissioner's Cup championship on June 30. This represents a significant investment in women's sports by the digital giant.

In a notable development, the WNBA returns to NBC with seven Sunday games. The network will also broadcast 12 Monday games exclusively on its Peacock streaming platform. NBC holds the rights to the WNBA Finals this season, with games airing either on the main channel or USA Network, while Peacock will stream every championship contest.

USA Network will contribute substantially to the broadcast schedule with 48 games on Wednesday and Monday nights. NBA TV rounds out the coverage with a 15-game schedule, providing additional exposure for the league.

Strategic Implications for Women's Sports

This record-breaking broadcast arrangement represents a watershed moment for women's professional sports. The diverse portfolio of media partners ensures that WNBA games will reach broader audiences through both traditional television and digital streaming platforms. The increased visibility comes at a crucial time as the league celebrates three decades of competition and continues to build momentum following a successful 2025 season.

The expanded coverage promises to showcase the exceptional talent throughout the league, from established veterans to emerging stars like Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers. With games available across multiple networks and streaming services, fans will have unprecedented access to follow their favorite teams and players throughout the entire season.
