Former Liverpool winger Jordon Ibe has been arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm after landing at Luton Airport. The 30-year-old, who now plays for Bulgarian club Lokomotiv Sofia, was taken into custody on January 30 following a flight from Bulgaria.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed that Ibe has been charged with actual bodily harm in connection with an alleged assault on December 14, 2025. He was granted bail and is due to appear at Croydon Magistrates' Court on March 6.
Ibe began his career at Liverpool, making 58 appearances and scoring four goals between 2012 and 2016. He later joined Bournemouth for a club-record fee of £15 million. After spells in Turkey and non-league football, he signed for Lokomotiv Sofia in November 2025.
The Bulgarian club expressed optimism about Ibe's revival, stating at the time of his signing: 'After a few difficult seasons, Jordan is ready to revive his career, and we all believe that this will happen at Lokomotiv.'
