Sir David Beckham has been praised for his quick response after coming to the aid of a skier who fell and hit her head during a family holiday in the French Alps. The former Manchester United star, 50, was skiing with his daughter Harper at the luxury resort of Courchevel last week when he witnessed the incident.
According to reports, Beckham immediately rushed over to the unnamed woman, removed her skis, and checked that she was not seriously hurt. A source told The Sun: 'David saw the woman hit her head and was worried about her. He took her skis off and made sure she was okay – he was a true gentleman.' The ski guide accompanying Beckham also drew praise for his assistance.
Beckham, who took up snowboarding after retiring from football in 2013, has been a regular visitor to Courchevel with his wife Victoria. The couple have made frequent trips to the slopes over the past decade, including a snowboarding holiday in British Columbia last year. The resort is known for catering to an exclusive clientele, with Prince William and Princess Kate also visiting earlier in 2026.
This latest trip is believed to be the Beckhams' first ski holiday since their eldest son Brooklyn announced he had cut ties with the family. Brooklyn, 26, accused his parents of trying to control him and claimed his mother Victoria attempted to 'ruin' his marriage to Nicola Peltz. Despite the family rift, Beckham continues to demonstrate the qualities that earned him a knighthood last year.
